Our popular themed portrait sessions guarantee you excellently crafted images of interesting subjects who can express and pose effectively to communicate our shoot narrative.

We learn portraiture techniques used by professionals including lighting patterns for faces, angles, poses and distortion and how that affects proportions. We use a variety of modifiers with Elinchrom flash heads. We also have a good selection of backdrop colours to work with. We look at the properties of light and shade and how slighting changes in positioning and angle make a big difference to the overall image.

There is plenty to learn on these studio days for people who are new to the studio. Or if you have experience in the studio you can come along to update your portfolio with something different. 

We have had clown, medieval, steampunk and elven themed so far.  

Spaces are £75 each and limited to 4 people so there is plenty of shooting time. Any camera with a manual setting can be used (except the canon 250d as canon took out the centre pin so you can’t use any other flash but theirs!)
