Landscape Photography 1-2-1 Tuition in Devon and Somerset
Have you ever looked at a landscape photograph and thought "Why don't my photos look like that?" well you aren't alone! Landscape photographers use a variety of techniques to get their shots. Some take multiple images of the same scene with different camera settings and then merge their shots together to get those amazing detailed images. Some have learned to take long exposures to blur water, even in the middle of the day. Those of us who are just pointing and shooting couldn't possibly match the level of detail in these awe inspiring shots. Not without guided lessons on how to do so...
In our two part 1-2-1 Landscape photography tuition session, I will take you to some beautiful viewpoints, including woodland areas and then to the beach or location with water. Across these two locations we will learn how to expose our images appropriately, how to bracket using a tripod and timer or remote, how to use filters for long exposures to show movement in water and how to use the best camera settings for excellent quality images packed full of detail.
The second part of this landscape photography lesson is computer based, where we will learn how to use Lightroom Classic to merge and edit our images to bring out that lovely detail that we capture in session one. No prior knowledge is needed but it would be helpful if you have Lightroom Classic downloaded and ready to go for your lesson.
Each session comes with worksheets and a complimentary account on my photography tuition membership site. This gives you a place to log in to watch our recorded Lightroom Classic lesson, (if we have recording facilities on your computer) and also to access worksheets and further infographics and learning material. You will be invited to join our community where you can further your skills in photography, join our social events and take part in our live online demos.
