Going pro in Photography - A single gift voucher would start off the student on our mentoring program that, over multiple sessions, introduces them to all the tools and know-how needed to build a successful photography business from the ground up. We'll work together to nail down their brand, find ideal clients, and set up everything from their social media presence to their pricing and paperwork. They will learn how to market themselves effectively, choose the right equipment, manage finances, and handle all the essential business bits like insurance and contracts. With regular check-ins and straight-talking guidance, we'll create a clear path to get their business up and running confidently and efficiently with the appropriate processes, documentation and systems.
Landscape Photography - A two part session, one 3 hour practical where we shoot in a woodland and then at the beach with techniques and equipment specifically used in Landscape Photography. This can then be followed with a second tuition session where we use Lightroom Classic to process the images using the appropriate techniques for this genre of photography. A single gift voucher would cover just part one of these sessions.
Studio Portrait Photography - Gift vouchers can be used for learners to get to grips with studio portrait photography. We learn about lighting patterns for faces, how to position the lights and what the different modifiers do. We also learn about the properties of light, posing people and using our individual camera settings appropriately in the studio.
Photography for Marketers - Students learn how to use their cameras and lighting equipment for product and marketing photography as shown above, for events, interior photography and much more. These sessions vary per student so we will tailor it to your needs.
Photography for Makers and Creators - Very much as above, student will learn how to take photos of the things they make using appropriate camera settings to get all the details in small parts, to get focus on the whole object and to light their subject properly. They will also learn SEO techniques to help their images and websites rank higher in search engines.
Street Photography and how to see Images - In this session we will walk around our chosen location and look at what makes a good photo. We will work with light, textures, shapes and more within our environment to help us consciously create images whilst thinking about the formal elements of photography. This is a great session for those who don't want to be too technical.
Baby Photography for New Parents - Guided tuition session on getting the best photos of your newest family member using the appropriate camera settings, lighting, props and safe poses.
Our 3 hour photography 1-2-1's allow concise practical based lessons with worksheets and homework tasks. Sessions are taught at the learners pace and tailored to suit their specific needs. Vouchers state the tuition time of three hours so you can allow your giftee to choose what session is right for them or they can create a bespoke session with me when they book in.
