We had a fabulous workshop on Saturday with our model Candice Peachey, who is also a very clued in beauty queen and has just been awarded the title 'World Supermodel England' and she's soon off to Fiji for the finals!! We also had Trude Bosence on board to apply makeup and create amazing looks with hair, Trude is always fun to have around in the studio and her work is fantastic. We had three photographers attend this workshop, all returning after undertaking previous workshops so it was like a little gathering of friends as we all shot together again. After much consideration, well.. a couple hours after waking up.. I have decided to relaunch my website with a new domain name, a simpler, easier to navigate site and with a clearer more precise purpose;
"To inspire people in the art of photography through experimentation with lighting, styling and technique in the form of workshops, online tutorials and with one to one tuition" Previously GemmieV Photography under the domain name www.GemmieV.com I decided it was time to move on to something more grown up, more specific as my business has grown and evolved as has my love of teaching and working with creative, like minded people. So here marks my new start, fully focussing on building a community of learning, with free tutorials, hints and tips via my mailing list and exciting new workshops where we will learn about studio lighting, photoshop and get to shoot with some fantastic models.
