This workshop is a practical portrait photography session where you will practice the following techniques:
How to change your camera settings in Manual mode How to change your camera settings in Aperture Priority mode How to create portrait photographs using available light sources around the city. How to use the balance of settings in camera for creative effect and image quality. How to get the Bokeh effect (circles of light in the background) How to play with your shooting angle to get interesting portrait shots of our photographic model. Working with a model including direction and lighting theory. How to spot suitable photographic scenes and backgrounds. You need to bring your camera, a warm coat and a charged battery or two. There are 10 available spaces on this workshop, it's £35 per person and runs for 2 hours. To see when the next group workshop is running visit the 'Photo Workshop Schedule' page. To request a 1-2-1 session please fill out the enquiry form below. 1-2-1 sessions are £35 per hour plus model hire which depends on the individual model's rate. Alternatively, you can bring a friend to pose for you.
